Journal (Dec-2009)

This year has been up and down, a lot of happiness and sadness. I cannot say there was more sadness than happiness but one did dominate the other this year.

Many of my friends got married this year… Nine weddings…. Good/happy for all of them, including my cousin’s wedding made all the family members grouped together again, my best friends’ wedding and being the best man for that special moment, the wonderful times for everyone

Another younger cousin also got a baby, along with 3 of my other friends…. Wow... I am old.

Personally, I decided to take the CFP courses, finished 2 of them this year and still have 2 more to study.

There are many things we cannot control; they seem to be planned. People call them destiny.

This year... I lost 2 people, in the beginning and the end of the year. They are both very important to me, and probably I won’t forget still, 416, 927. Those 2 days… I will not forget either. Treasure the past and the future.

I am sure 2010 will be a better year. Hope all the people, I love, like, own will be happy and healthy.

After having lunch with friends, I didn’t know where to go… So, I decided to go to the gym to spend some time.

After working out for 15 mins, I saw someone walking toward me… It was A.M. I haven’t seen him for 2 years…. I was so happy and excited to see him again. We had a short chat and hope I will have time to visit him again

What can be better than meeting old good friend??

This year was getting better because I didn’t have anything to get.
Time passed by differently as I didn’t feel tired even I didn’t sleep last night.
After lunch and movie, then had family dinner again tonight.

Merry Christmas everyone. Time is passing by fast earlier this year then slow again now. I wish all my family and friends have a wonderful Christmas.

My friend called me yesterday so I decided to go to Vancouver immediately. It was my first time driving my car in Vancouver.

Today, it was my first time driving in the snow because it was snowing in Vancouver. Also, first time driving my friend back to Victoria. Hopefully, I didn’t scare her.

There is always a first time. I guess I just need to be brave and try more different things.

My friend called me at 12:30pm today telling me his baby is out now. It was exciting news. So, I packed and took the 3pm ferry to visit him.

The baby was so cute and I didn’t know baby has hair already when she is first born.

My friend had moved to another stage of life, becoming a dad now. Congratulation! I need to move on too.

This year’s party was different than the pervious years. We started to have lunch, then movie and finished it with some chatting. I got home pretty early at 7:30pm.

It was a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

Finally, today was the CFP class 2 exam. I basically missed a month of classes, didn’t study/concentrate for almost two months. Especially, this is the hardest course of the program. So, I was really nervous about the exam.

Today, I was also lazy and couldn’t concentrate. Luckily, the exam was not that hard and I passed the course... OK, I am half way thru.

Today, it was my pleasure to drive my friends to the restaurant. They were the first friends sitting in my car.

I knew it was scary but I always feel it is my pleasure and responsible to drive people around. So happy that I had this chance today.
