- Server Move

Jun 28, 2007

My server will be down for at least a week later. It is because I am going to move it to my friend's place. I am getting a lot of complain from my family with the computer on 24 hours a day. They said it may explode... .

Jun 24, 2007

Finally, I purchased tickets for my sister and mom to come over next month. So, excited, maybe, but there are more to think about. Where to go? How many holiday should I take? etc.

Hopefully, my sister will enjoy this trip. But today, I just found out. they can only bring 1 laugage per person over . Normally, each person can take 2, I don't know how they can do it now

- Last day of Alberta trip

Jun 18, 2007

University of Alberta, West Mall.

Our flight back to Victoria was at 4:30pm. I insisted to get to the airport early so we didn’t have to rush to return the car and to go thru security checking. But, key… key… keys…. Where are you???

- Alberta Trip 2, Calgary => Lake Louise => Jasper National Park => Banff => Calgary

Jun 16, 2007

We spent most of our second day on driving because there were a few places I really wanted to go. First, I liked to go to University of Calgary.

Second, we walked around Lake Louise and drove for 2 hrs to the Columbia Ice field. Columbia ice field is a cool attraction to go because it is covered with ice from 1000 years ago. However, because of global warming, they estimated it will be disappeared in 20-30 years.

Back to Banff at 8pm and walked around the city when there was a power outage. We shop around and then went to hot spring.

We didn’t leave Banff till 11pm and it was raining really badly. I was driving but I couldn’t see anything 5m away. We arrived Calgary at 1:30am and got into the hotel at 3am.

- Alberta Trip 1, Edmonton => Drumheller => Calgary

Jun 15, 2007

We arrived Edmonton at 9:45am and drove down to Drumheller directly (4 hrs). The main purpose to go to Drumheller was for the dinosaur museum, Royal Tyrrell Museum. After staying there for 2 hrs, we headed to Calgary (2 hrs). Then, we checked in to the hotel and visited the Calgary Tower .

Note: While we were driving to Calgary, we were chasing by a police car …… luckily, it was not trying to follow us .

Life - Good/Bad News

Jun 08, 2007

Good:
Congratulation for my friends who were graduating this week. I went to my last friend's convocation today. Good for her .

I don't think I know anyone who is still studying at UVic anymore.

Bad:
My best friend in HK told me his Dad just passed away last night . It is super sad for him and for me too since I know his family pretty well. My parents actually know his parents too. His grandmother passed away a few months ago… it just makes it sadder for him.

Too bad I am not with him right now...... take care.... Hopefully, you will be fine soon.

- Baby/Woman

Jun 05, 2007

I was reading some news and found one of the news sites. "While it's true that fertility takes a nosedive at 40, the decline actually begins in a woman's late 20s and accelerates throughout her 30s at a rate of 3 percent to 5 percent per year. By age 40, a woman has just a 5 percent chance of getting pregnant naturally in any given month."

My female friends..... Remember this .

- Goal Achieved!

Jun 01, 2007

Finally, I finished my five days bike ride. It was a wonderful exercise.

I understand it took me extra 2 hrs to travel from home to work and then back home. But, I think it is good.... I will try to do it at least once a week
