• Mom & Me @ Whistler

We decided to go up to the Whistler mountain even though we were not going to ski.
It was my mom's first time seeing snow. Hopefully, she was happy.

We started to come back to Vancouver at 2pm. However, the traffic was soooo slow. We didn't get back till 5:45pm. Luckily, we arrived the ferry terminal at 6:20 to catch the 7pm ferry with our reservation.

I will not take any holiday during my mom's visit so I decided to bring her up to Whistler for the snow.
We didn't leave Richmond until 2pm and expected to arrive Whistler at 3:30. However, we didn't get there till 4:30pm. It was my first time getting there since I arrived Canada.

After we got into the hotel, we went to the village for shopping and site seeing.
It was not snowing and it was kind of disappointed.

Starting 7pm, the village was so busy. We had to wait for 40 mins in order to get a table for dinner.

Back to the hotel at 10pm, we were soooo tired already......

Finally, my mom arrived into the Vancouver airport. However, I was almost an hour late.
When I got into the airport, it was quite empty and she was sitting there to play her ds.

We then went to get the car, set up everything... but the time we got to the hotel. It was 2 hours after she arrived.

Went out for dinner and got back to the hotel. It was 11:30pm already.

Sorry mom, I was late.

My mother is coming this week.. I better get ready and I will be busy soon.

The weather was getting cold these days....... 4 degree only.

We went to see the salmon run at 8am. It was the earliest time I got up during vacation time.

After we had done shopping in Vancouver, we handed back to the ferry terminal at 4.

Arrived terminal at 4:30pm, 3 sailing wait, we didn't get onto the ferry till 9:20pm.

Coming back to Vancouver was long and tired. Luckily, we found a short cut on the boarder.

Got my beer, got back to the hotel early. Bad weather tho, too windy.

Long Weekend, I took the Friday off to go to Seattle for an NBA game with my friend.

However, we had bad luck.

First, we missed the 7am ferry......... waiting at the ferry terminal for 2 hours.

Second, the line up for the board was super long. It was not only going to the boarder, but also the immigration office since I needed to go into the immigration office everytime.

Third, the line up for the outlet entrance was long. We ended up only having 35 mins to walk around the mall.

We finally arrived Seattle at 6pm, the traffic was crazily bad... bad....
Parking... expensive, $20

The game started at 7:30pm, Super Sonic vs. Jazz. The game was super fun..... Sonic stole the ball in the last 5s, missed, and lost by 2 pt.

Driving to the hotel was super dangerous with heavy rain.
My friend was driving the car Seattle downtown; we didn't stop on a red light and almost died. .

Finally, we got to the hotel at 12am..... but there were no parking space. We just parked on the fire line.

Too tired... just go to bed.

This basketball season was much shorter than before. We finished our last playoff game tonight and we ranked #4. not too bad.

So, after today…… I don’t know when I will do exercise again.
