Experience - Lucky Day

Dec 21, 2006

My family FOUND my iron ring this morning. I was beside the TV.... Yeaaaaaah

When I tried to order something in McDonald this morning, the manager realized me and know exactly what I want to order. I guess it was because I have my special way to order. I always repeated the same sentence. "Can I have #1, super size, small root beer no ice, to go please".....
McDonald.... not bad service again hahhaha

Thought - Swimming Lesson

Dec 17, 2006

Finally, I felt better today when I got up. haha!!

My friend needed to register for a swimming course, so I went with her.

I saw my co-worker's gf working at the swimming pool office. She directed my friend and I where the program was. Finally, my friend decided to join the Adult Beginner program. I started reading the detail..... there was a line after the description, "Distance swim is 10m".... I wasn't 100% sure what that means, so I asked... haha!! She told me after this program, the learner would be able to swim 10m... TEN... yes... it is TEN hahahaha!!!

I couldn't stop laughing..... Every 3 walking steps equals 2 meters so 10m is 15 walking step. I think if a person doesn't put his/her head under the water, pushes the wall in the water, he/she could flow over 10m without any problem. hahahahhahaha. 10m is 40% of a standard swimming pool's width...

sorry,... I just think this is funny.....
I guess it is just fun to go out with friends and to laugh at friends... hahaha

Experience - Christmas Light

Dec 16, 2006

Couldn't get up early tonight. But I promised my friend I will go to watch Chirstmas night with her tonight so......

I asked my co-worker last night... he said he knew someone working at The Butchart Gardens so he will give me a call today to see if he could get me admissions. haha! no.. I didn't think it would happen.. because I was't even able to get up till really late afternoon and he actually stayed there later than me.. haha. But I still want to thank him, he is really nice .

So, my friend and I just went out for dinner and saw a few Christmas light. The first destination was the 19th annual Navy Light Contest. It was pretty cool as we only needed to sit on the bus and they drove us around the base. One big thing I learned, I understood why Canada couldn’t be in war now. Hahaha
Then we drove up to Ladysmith. I went to Ladysmith a few years ago but it was too late so all the light were off. This time, it was not too early, but there were still lights. I loved the feeling of a small town... 1 big street, it took us 30 mins to walk around the WHOLE downtown. hahahahha. The feeling was warm and comfortable.

However, both of us agreed, Christmas light is always better in a big city.

I had a great time tonight, thanks.

Experience - Office Christmas Party At My Boss's House Tonight

Dec 15, 2006

Yeah!! My purpose for this party was to test my drinking limit... because they offered free drinks.

Before I went to the party, my co-worker and I were lost in Esquimalt for picking up our boss’s Christmas gift. The place was 15mins apart from our office, but it took us 1.25 hrs to finish the trip.

After the long trip, I didn't want to start any strong alcohol and I didn't really want to talk to anyone. So, I started the dinner by eating 3 dishes of noodles/rice and a can of Sprite. Then, one of my bosses said “Hey, you shouldn't be too easy on yourself”..... then I walked back into the kitchen and saw 3 bottles of "Gray Monk" white wine.. wow... wow..... I started with the opened one with 1/2 bottle left..... I just stood there for 15 mins and finished it. They were soooo good. I loved wine now (hm.. even before…). Then…. opened another bottle of wine.... found a large cup and filled it up with around 1/2 bottle of wine again.

After the last 1/2 bottle of wine, I started to become socialized. I even stood outside chatting with my boss and co-worker with only my T-shirt on. . Also, I started to talk to different people. hahaha!! But the wine was..... pretty good... so I finished it pretty fast again. However, when I got back to the kitchen again, there was only 1/2 bottle left.... One of the bottles was GONE!!! I didn’t think much at that time; just poured the last bottle of wine into my cup again. haha! Wine was just sooo good.

But this time was diff... I couldn't leave the kitchen... I was forced to do a couple shots of Tequila. If I remember it correctly (haha ), I had 3 shots before I walked back outside to chat with my co-workers.

Didn't know after how long, I felt really cold.. so I walked back into the living room and text message a friend.... But, I kind of regretted... People started to get a bit crazy. People started to dance and jump around.. haha.... Then, I got force to get back into the kitchen and had two shots with my boss and co-worker and 2 with other people in the kitchen. They taught me how to drink Tequila and they mixed whatever mystery drinks and we tried it together...

After this moment, I knew I should slow myself down so I finished my white wine quickly and got 2 beers. Started talking to people slowly and drank much much slower. Luckily people started to leave so I had more time to relax.

Time went by pretty fast afterward. I talked to a few people,.... but couldn't remember their names... hahaha If I remember correctly, I finished around 2 more beers and 2 ciders..

At around 12:30am, most people left already. My boss brought out ....... Champagne.... ... they were expensive, I had to drink more, especially, it was CHAMPAGNE. haha!! So, we started drinking together again. After each person got a bit of it, I just took all the leftover and poured them into my cup. I knew my boss was staring at me so I avoided his eye contact. haha!!

People were really interesting now. “We need to get drunk”, “Go Go Go”, that’s what I heard people said and some people were hitting the wall and standing on the table… hm..
But we started to do Tequila shot again... haha! this time, I really could not remember how many shot I took this time... 3, 4, 5, 6 maybe .

I left around 1:30pm.... tired.... but fun.

Btw, earlier at night, we saw one of my co-worker with his gf.... on the bed.... hm….. hahaha We were laughing... so they went to the basement... hahahhaahhahahahaha

Friend,..... thanks for looking after me

But, damn, I lost my iron ring..... where are you? Did someone told it from me?? hm..hm..hm..

Experience - Think-Believe, Slept Outdoor

Dec 14, 2006

Sometimes, it is really hard to understand what people actually mean or think. Maybe, people's reaction, movement may not synchronize with their brain and what they say... I thought friends would be easier to understand... but not always..

Life is always difficult and fun..... never can expect what the outcome would be.... even you thought you have done a good job... I guess, that's why I will never give up.

Last night, I got a chance to sleep outdoor. I was sleeping in a car outdoor by myself. It was my first time experiencing how outdoor people felt during the winter time.

In the first 30 mins, I was fine, ok warm. Then it started to get colder and colder. Also, maybe I had something in mind - thinking thinking..... every 15 mins afterward went really really really slow and cold. Consider it was 5 degree outside last night.

It was a good experience.... Learned something.... Improved something and Understood more.

Thought - Tired..... Reaction

Dec 07, 2006

When I am really tired?

  • feel the fat is burning on my skin and feel so hot
  • fall asleep immediately if sitting down... so standing up almost for a whole day in order to work
  • try to find a place to sleep at work... the washroom, but it stinks... so gave up
  • get mad easily when receiving an email every 10 mins

When I am really really super tired?

  • don't feel tired anymore, seems like it is a normal day
  • don't want to eat, because after eat = must sleep
  • feel much busier than a normal day

I am soooo tired this week... but happy… enjoyable
So, I have much work to be completed before Christmas. However, I will have a week off yeahhhhh!!!!

Experience - Busy Weekend

Dec 03, 2006

It had been sooo busy these days... We had to move a site to another server and it had a lot of problems. Then, yesterday the site was down... we fixed it in the afternoon. Afterward, the application wasn't working. I had to watch a movie with my friend, so I decided to fix it later at 1:30am.
Finally, I got it fixed at 4pm today.

Wasn't a really fun/relaxing weekend.
