Journal (Dec-2005)

I went camping in Hong Kong on the New Year Eva. Every time I came back to HK, I would go camping with the scout troop again at least once. This time is not as fun as before now since I don't know most of the people.

This is the last diary of the year. 2005 passed by too fast. So many memories. I had learned a lot. Learned about work, relationship, caring about other people. Especially, I came back home this Christmas; I think I would treasure more about my family and friends. I would not let my feeling passes away as time does.

Merry Christmas. My cousin came to HK for Christmas so I brought her around. We went to the peak and walked around the harbor to watch the Christmas light.

It is so interesting to watch the anti-WTO people fight with the HK police. Last night, Hong Kong government started to block people going into part of the city. It is a really good real show to watch. ;)

I don’t really like to go out, especially at night. It is because there are so many people on the street. I live in Mong Kok. Every time I got out and walked on the street, I felt really uncomfortable. I guess I will get used to it when I go out more.

It is getting hot in Hong Kong so I decided to get a haircut yesterday. Afterward, my aunt told me I look 10 years younger. She also told me a really funny story.

I have a little cousin (~13 years old). She doesn't remember me anymore although she had seen me a few times before when she was really young. After she saw me last Thursday, she asked me aunt how old I am. She couldn't believe that I am only 24; she thought I am almost 40. hahaha!!

Fortunately, she thinks I look much younger now after the haircut. haha! Do I really look that bad before

I have started visiting my relatives these days. They look much older than before and I am sure I look older than before too. Time really passes by so fast. After I said them, I know health is a really important issue in life. I think I should really take care of myself better.....

I am using a dial-up internet connection so I cannot upload any pictures yet. I will try to upload some later this week.

Finally, after the crazy 19 hours ride, I arrived HK yesterday at 10:30pm. Now, it is Tuesday morning. Still feeling good.
Today, it is 11 degree in the morning and everyone thinks it is so so so cold. But for some reason, I still feel alright.
However, I still haven't got used to the environment here yet. Too dusty. Also, if I smell too much smoking, my nose would start to hurt.... Hope I will get used to this soon

Finially, I have decided to temporary move my blog to http://zagamnow.blogspot.com/ while I am in Hong Kong. So, I can update it there. Hopefully, I can still keep in touch with my friends and feel free to leave me a comment anytime
